Caitlin G'Sell Caitlingsell@yahoo.com
Caitlin found her vocation for mommies and babies back in 2009 as a house-mom at a maternity shelter and has been a birth doula since 2010.
The word doula is the Greek word for servant to women and she strives to embody that description with her work. She believes birth can be beautiful and empowering for any mother whether it's natural, epidural, C-section or VBAC. Education about healthy pregnancy, what to expect during labor, and tips for postpartum care is her priority.
She is devoted to informational, emotional, and physical support for women and their partner(s) during pregnancy and continuous care throughout labor. Caitlin believes that one of life's greatest treasures is the sacred bond of newborn and mother as she holds her little one for the first time, utterly in love. She is honored to be present at such precious moments. With a passion for helping women and families during this amazing time in their life, Caitlin has made doula care her ministry.
(She is DONA trained, knows basic American Sign Language and is working toward Stillbirthday certification as bereavement doula.)
