rebozo is all-purpose shawl traditionally worn by women and girls in
Latin
American cultures. Maya wraps are used to carry children from infancy

Traditional
direct entry midwives in Mexico have used the rebozo for hundreds of years
to help expectant mothers relax, as well as to provide physical support and to assist the baby in turning into an optimal position for labor & birth.
The Spanish term for the technique the midwife uses is "manteada".

The Baby K’tan™ Baby Carrier is made up of two loops of fabric
connected with a sliding support band. Simply place the two loops
over your head and around your neck like a necklace, slip one arm
in one loop and the other arm in the second loop.
Material 100% cotton; for true size
wash & tumble dry before first use.
Baby K’tan Baby Carriers are cut slightly larger to allow for shrinkage.

The Baby K'tan™ Baby Carrier is sized to fit the parent or adult who
will be carrying the child. Age or weight of child is not a factor in sizing.
Women: Carrier size generally corresponds to fitted t-shirt size.
Men: Chest measurement generally corresponds to suit jacket size.
If 5' 4" or under, choose a smaller size.
Note: Larger sizes up to 3XL are available upon special request
(please allow additional time for order).
