The rebozo is all-purpose shawl traditionally worn by women and girls in
Latin American cultures. Maya wraps are used to carry children from infancy
through toddlerhood and also serve as Rebozos for use in Labor.

Traditional direct entry midwives in Mexico have used the rebozo for hundreds
of years to help expectant mothers relax, as well as to provide physical support
and to assist the baby in turning into an optimal position for labor & birth.

The Spanish term for the technique the midwife uses is "manteada".

will be carrying the child. Age or weight of child is not a factor in sizing.

Women: Carrier size generally corresponds to fitted t-shirt size.
Men: Chest measurement generally corresponds to suit jacket size.

If 5' 4" or under, choose a smaller size.  

Note: Larger sizes up to 3XL are available upon special request
